How can you catch fish up here, on most winter days? Break out your suckers and flags and have a go at ice fishing the Connecticut Lakes.
That’s Judy and Don giving it a try earlier today, without success apparently. They had a lot of fun though, which is always worth it.
The Connecticut River was busy yesterday from our reports. With a mild day near 40 degrees, there were at least seven fishermen giving it a go yesterday. Didn’t sound like too much was happening though – no fish landed, but Angus reportedly had one on that got off to fight another day.
Keep watching the weather folks – wading the river, even in January or February, can really help drive those winter blues away!
Give us a call at 1-800-835-6343 for reservations and there’s never a bad time for another woodsman steak and Rainbow Grille martini …

The Woodsman Steak, Camp Potatoes and green beans Friday night were one of the best meals in memory. Of course, Tanya’s RG Martini hit the spot with the Boss.
You folks provide the best food and hospitality in NH. Hope you get some real snow real quick.
PS The fishing was fun even with an unruly partner – the puppy thay is.

Great seeing you and Karen last weekend – too bad the fish weren’t cooperating! We’ll at least have a Woodsman and RG martini for you guys when you come back!
