It was a beautiful night on Back Lake Saturday night.  A colorful sunset, no wind, and rising fish. It was just perfect. Jon, Charlie and I were out on the lake and we picked up 6+ rainbows, a few brookies and a brown on a Soft Hackle Pheasant Tail and a Crayfish Bugger. Back Lake’s surface water temperature has dropped 10 degrees this week due to the cooler days and nights. I bet the water temps have lowered on the outer ponds as well. They might be worth checking out for last bite.

Take a look at this Tricked Out Tall Timber boat.  A few of our guests like to add  some customization to their boat. Crazy!

The river fished pretty well this weekend, and the water flows are still great.  Flies to try; Elk Hair Caddis, Corn Fed Caddis, small Stimulators, Tung Head Pheasant Tail, Bead Head Dirty Bird, Hatching Pupa,  and streamers, like a Black Ghost and a Soft Hackle Streamer.  It should be a great week ahead. See you out there.
