This one was actually from a couple of weeks ago on the Connecticut River, photo courtesy of Angus Boezeman. Nice job with the switch rod Angus!
That’s our good friend Denis Fay with a beauty of a brookie on the Androscoggin River late last week. After all of the rain that we had early last week, the flow finally dropped on the Andro, allowing for nearly ideal drifting conditions out there for Jon Howe and his clients.
Don’t get excited – that’s a light cahill, not the hexagenia that we’ve all been waiting for. Seems that the arrival of the hex at Back lake in Pittsburg NH has been delayed this year, due mostly to our incredibly rainy and cold start to summer.
