The Merits of Wet Wading

Particularly appropriate with the heat wave this week, wet wading is a good option if you still want to get out on the water and not melt while doing it. I must confess that I have never wet waded, at least not on purpose …

For sure, some parts of the river lend themselves to wet wading easier, than say below Murphy Dam. The water there is currently 50 degrees, and it might be difficult to stay in there for very long.

Domenick Swentosky of the Troutbitten blog has a great article on wet wading – how to do it, when to do it, and maybe even where to do it.

Check it out here – How to Wet Wade

Stay cool everybody!
