Not just another “fish story” – this one actually has photographic proof, along with a witness. The lucky angler is Chuck DeGray from North Country Flies on a drift down the Connecticut River on Wednesday with our man Dave Poole. This 5 pounder was caught on a Zoo Cougar that Chuck specially tied, and still prowls the depths today.
Chuck has everything you could want for tying your own flies at his shop off Back Lake Road, as well as a good selection of the best local patterns. Stop in on him the next time you’re up here!
