Check out our world famous Angus Boezeman on one of his guide trips in September on the Trophy Stretch with Nick and Dave. Thank you to Tim Flagler of Tightline Productions for his excellent work. https://vimeo.com/108394540
Only one week left in our season now, so the countdown is, unfortunately, on. The fishing’s been good over this past week, with many of our guests catching some beautiful salmon in the Connecticut River, along with some nice rainbows and browns. Seems like most of the damage has been done on nymphs (think small!!) and don’t forget your Egg patterns (Sucker Spawn,Oregon Cheese, etc.) and your Worm patterns (San Juan, Goomie).
The river flows are good – approximately 150 CFS in the Trophy Stretch and 300 CFS below Murphy Dam. Even the Androscoggin River has seen some good action on drift boat trips.
Fishing on our beloved Connecticut River is almost over – get up here or you’ll probably be kicking yourself all winter!
Give us a call at 1-800-83-LODGE for reservations …

Tom, great video!
Also, were the two locations at which they were fishing in the Trophy Stretch? I recognize the former (near Ledge Pool) but not the latter. Thanks!
Best wishes to the whole TT family. See you next summer!

Hi Jo –
That was a great video done by Tim Flagler of Tightline Productions, and captured the essence of fishing with Angus on the Trophy Stretch. Naturally, I can’t divulge where Angus was during that video, as he’s pretty protective of his spots. He’s a fisherman, first and foremost!
Have a good fall and winter Jo – see you next summer,
Tom
