The weather has taken a wintry turn in the last day or so, and it looks like we won’t be fishing anytime soon. Chuck Degray’s got his work cut out for him trying to fill his fly orders, as he kicks it in to high gear tying his famous Gray Soft Hackle Streamer. Good luck, Chuck!

Steve,I tie these on a 4x long streamer hook #6 & #8 with a sm. Or med. nickel cone head. Light body of uv pearl ice dub and one or two marabou plumes palmered like a hackle (keep it on the sparse side). Then take one or two turns of mallard flank for a collar and finish it off with uv ice dub pearl. Should be tied on the front 1/3 of the hook.
