Upper Connecticut River Fishing Report: 6/26

The fishing on the Connecticut River’s “Trophy Stretch” has been good for some (especially if you’re one of N.H. Guide Mickey Cunliffe’s clients), but difficult for others lately it seems. The river flow remains steady at 145 – 150 CFS in this section, as does the procession of anglers trying their luck.

Back Lake Fishing Report: 6/23

While our most anticipated guest (Mr. Hex) on the lake has not yet made an appearance, we are currently in the midst of two major insect hatches on Back Lake: Black Caddis and Brown Drakes. The picture of the brown drake above was taken this morning on our boat house.
