Water temps are going down, and the fishing is picking up.
Now we just need the weather to change, and everything will be great. It’s been a little wet around here lately but fortunately Pittsburg’s forecast is looking great for the weekend. Clear skies, and temps in the mid fifties. Perfect autumn weather.
OMR did a few wade trips this week on the Trophy, and everyone caught fish. The top fly was a Snowshoe Emerger BWO. 
They also picked up a few fish on Soft Hackle Streamers. I’ve heard a few salmon being caught on the Trophy, and there are fish in Lake Francis Inlet. The fall salmon run is near.
Boundary Pond has been fishing well and you might want to try some of the other ponds like Terrell and Coon Brook Bog. It’s always fun to fish the ponds in the fall. Back Lake has been good this week for the folks trolling full sinking fly lines. Getting the fly down is key. Mickey Finn, Woolybuggers, and Muddlers. The Bald Eagle has been limiting out on the lake. Awesome sight!
