The Fly Fishing Crew at Tall Timber

Pretty much if it’s between January 1 and October 15, there’s a good chance that one of us at Tall Timber Lodge is harassing the local trout population fly fishing somewhere on Pittsburg’s waters. We can’t wait to get out there and hope that you feel the same when you’re in our area!

The Tall Timber Fly Fishing Lineup:

Jon – a.k.a. “Old Man River” – Jon’s our resident fly fishing guide emeritus at the lodge, and has been a fixture on the Connecticut and Androscoggin Rivers for a very long time. Some of you may remember Jon long ago from his days at North Country Angler in North Conway, NH. He gets cranky when he’s not catching fish …

Cindy – a.k.a. “O.M.R.’s Bride” – Cindy probably spends more of her time documenting the catch and release of trout and salmon, but every now and then she puts the camera down to show us all how it’s properly done. She especially likes taking trout and salmon on dries, but is not above resorting to other methods …

Tom – a.k.a. “B.S.” – Tom likes to talk a good game, but often can’t walk it like the pros do. Though he occasionally brings a large trout or salmon to justice, he should probably just stick to becoming the best grouse and woodcock hunter in the northeast that he can.
