We had a great day yesterday on the Connecticut River, learning the nuances and mechanics of two handed casting from IFFF Certified Two Handed Casting instructor William Ciaurro and his apprentice instructor Leo Tammaro.

Angus Boezeman, NH Fly Fishing Guide extraordinaire, has been very busy this winter doing seminars and fly tying classes all over New England. This month he will be doing another fly tying class demonstrating a few of his “Go To” flies that are killer patterns. That’s right folks, he is opening the vault.

That’s our own Alan Erdossy, who, along with Angus Boezeman, teaches the fine art of fly fishing at our Tall Timber Fly Fishing Schools each year. He was recently part of a photo essay on fishing in Vermont in the latest issue of Catch Magazine, a subscription based internet publication.

Another class of fly fishing students graduated in to the world this weekend, thanks to the efforts of Angus, Alan and Dave. Everyone had a good time, studied hard, and some of them even landed a few trout, which, as we all know, is better on a fly rod!
