This extremely rare “crocabrown” was brought to justice earlier today on the Connecticut River – don’t worry, it was gently released to prowl the depths once again.
The pattern? It took a while to finally get it to bite and land it, but this behemoth finally took a “Pink Stumpy”, a very realistic looking human leg pattern that can only be cast with a ten weight spey rod.
Due to its incredibly slow metabolism, this trophy only comes out to feed once a year, and that happens to be on April 1 …

I was admiring that “crocabrown” and thought ……… that must be the same look I have on my face while Brooke is holding a ribeye and approaching my table at the RBG.
