Yup, it’s over – in fact, it’s been nearly a week that we reeled up and put away the flies for the 2015 fishing season. It was a good one – water flows were generally good, and NH Fish & Game did a nice job in stocking some nice trout.
Tall Timber’s fly fishing guides Angus Boezeman and Dave Poole got out there on the Connecticut River’s Trophy Stretch to close out the season, and made the most of their time out there, landing some beautiful landlocked salmon.
Enjoy the pictures – we won’t see salmon again for at least a few more months.
Thank you to everyone for joining us for some fishing this season – it was great to see many old friends, and make some new ones too. We’re looking forward to 2016 already!

I see where the F and G, did indeed change the regs below Murphy Dam to catch and release. Nice job with the petition I believe you started. We will not miss seeing the bait guys, dragging a big brown or a rainbow, out of that section!!!

Thanks Mike – we had a lot of support from all over, so we can all take some credit for it’s passage. Remember that the catch and release is from January 1 to the fourth Saturday in April.
