Upper Connecticut River Fishing Update: 5/29

That’s our Jon, with a nice one on in the Connecticut River’s Trophy Stretch – the Goomie Worm was the ticket for the rainbow that he landed. There were also some brook trout caught in this area as well, so there’s good fishing to be had … where are you this weekend?

Connecticut River Fishing Report: 5/22

Big day on the lower Connecticut River for drifting and casting streamers. A couple of groups of fishermen were out there on the drifts yesterday, hitting good amounts of trout between West Stewartstown, NH and Colebrook, NH, and south of Colebrook as well.

Back Lake Fishing Report: 5/17

The weather was spectacular today, as it appears that it will be again tomorrow – that kind of makes up for what we endured this winter. The fishing on Back Lake has been good for most of our guests that last few days as well, with all of the usual suspects working well on our trout.

Connecticut River Fishing Update: 5/13

Good news is that the salmon are running in to the Magalloway Stretch right now, with some very good angling … at times. It’s still salmon fishing after all, so they are on the feed one moment, and then quiet the next, for no apparent reason whatsoever.
